Veteranship Status

In honor of Infantry, the IGBL uses the United States Army's ranking system as the basis for the ranks that can be earned. You may earn up to 22 unique ranks be earning points as follows. There are 5 distinct categories that factor in to veteranship status. The points are updated nightly.

Membership Length Component

You may earn up to 7 rank points for the amount of time you have been on this site.
   1 rank point for joining.
   2 rank points > 1 month.
   3 rank points > 2 months.
   4 rank points > 4 months.
   5 rank points > 8 months.
   6 rank points > 16 months.
   7 rank points > 32 months.

Seasons Played Component

You may earn up to 5 rank points for the number of seasons you have earned over 100 minutes of playing time of time.
   1 rank point for each qualifying season up to a maximum of 5 points.

Community Involvment Component

You may earn up to 7 ranks for Community Involvment.
   1 rank point for being in the top 25 career prediction points.
   1 rank point for being awarded an individual IGBL award.
   1 rank point for being in the top 25 of forum posters.
   1 rank point for being a squad captain/co-capt or an igbl staff member.
   1 rank point for being in the top 10 of ladder referees.
   1 rank point for being active on an active squad.
   1 rank point for donating $20 or more to the IGBL.

Player Skill Component

You may earn up to 6 ranks for being a superior IGBL player.
   1 rank for being in the top 25 career mvp points.
   1 rank for being in the top 25 match mvps.
   1 rank for being in the top 25 career ratings with over 500 minutes played.
   1 rank for winning any regular season statistic category. (not yet implemented)
   1 rank for being in the top 50 in ladder standings.
   1 rank for being in the top 10 in ladder standings.

Referee Bonus Component

You may earn up to 2 ranks for helping the community by being a referee.
   1 rank is awarded for every 5 matches refereed.

Osi Bonus Component

This component allows me to grant people some ranks based on my opinion of them. If I feel you add a lot to the community you can receive a few bonus ranks. But if I feel your behavior is detracting from the quality of the league, you can be stripped of a few ranks as well.
