Ref Bot/Aide
The latest version is now
v1.0.38
. To check which version you are currently using simply run the program and it should say it in the titlebar of the window.
You may download the latest version
here
.
Troubleshooting:
If you encounter an error upon running the utility which crashes the program, try running the included 'register.bat' file included in the zip file. You will only ever need to do this once.
Changelog:
v1.0.38
- Fixed a glitch which nobody will ever realise existed.
v1.0.37
- Added squad list drop-downs. Selecting a squad from the dropdown list will automatically populate the player list.
- Added squad roster retriever. Retrieves squad rosters from official GBPL website (thanks Dunebug). Can be updated manually by clicking the 'U' button in the top right. User will be reminded to update if they have not done so in the last week.
v1.0.36
- Added the ability to delete players from team lists by Ctrl+Clicking them (should make it easier in case of typos and such).
- Adjusted the wording of the last instruction to reflect custom hotkeys set by the user.
v1.0.34
- Extended support for map config file changes. After applying an alternate config file, clicking the 'Restore Defaults' button will now restore the default settings for that particular map (and not the initial settings provided with the bot).
- Fixed an existing bug which caused the application to sometimes crash when clicking the 'Restore Defaults' button.
v1.0.30
- You can now change the hotkey to any button on your keyboard by clicking on the Settings button. I'm still working on adding key combinations.

Map Configurations
The bot comes with SvD map settings preloaded (the map which GBPL first commenced on). Whilst it is possible to manually change settings via the app itself, I have provided alternate configuration files here for ease and consistency among refs.
To apply a new configuration simply download the relevant file and run it once. You will need to do this once every time the map is changed.

Could you make the source available so that people familiar with coding can have some insight about how to develop bots?

Anyone familiar with coding should be able to properly figure out how to program a bot within Infantry. How to efficiently create a bot would be the difficult thing, depending on its purpose.

Your PvK file is a little flawed.
Distance between Team 1 offense and Team 2 defense = 80
Distance between Team 2 offense and Team 1 defense = 90
What I typically do is find the coords on one side, then find the co-ords at the center of the map and extrapolate the co-ords for the other side.
eg:
Determine Team 1 defense coords on left side = x
Find the center of the map = Center
Then using math calculate Team 2 defense coords (on the right side) = Center + (Center - x)
Then repeat with offense coords and faceoff coords.
I also check to make sure that the co-ords work out to be in identical positions on opposing sides as some maps aren't made so well and are not perfectly symmetrical across the center.
